How many herbs can be taken at one time?
The majority of people can take 5 to 6 at any one time, but if you have not taken herbs before then it is best to start with just 2 or 3 and build up to more over a period of time. We have several customers who take as many as 10 different herbs/supplements a day.
For how long can I take herbs?
This depends on the herb. Most can be taken for an indefinite period of time as a preventative. It is always good to take a break of 1 week every few months so that your body does not build up immunity.
Can children take herbs?
Yes, children can take herbs with good results. The dosage will depend on the child's age and weight. Consult with a physician, herbalist or pharmacist to be sure of correct dosage.
Can herbs be used along with what my doctor prescribes?
Herbs can usually be taken with prescription medications; however, it is advisable to seek your medical doctor's opinion if you are suffering from a long-term illness or currently take an prescription medications as some may have adverse or enhanced reactions with certain herbs. For example, a person taking a prescribed medication to thin the blood should not take Gingko Biloba, as Ginkgo is a natural blood thinner.
Can I take herbs while pregnant or nursing?
When pregnant, always check with your physician before taking herbal supplements. Some herbs are good during pregnancy, such as red raspberry for uterus strength and peppermint for nausea.
Are there any harmful drugs in herbs?

Most orders are processed and shipped the next business day from order date. Orders are shipped USPS First Class, USPS Priority, and Fedex Ground based on weight and rate. It may take 2-10 days for your order to reach you. What is your return policy?
You can return all empty and unused portions within one year of purchase for a refund or exchange. We do not pay for return postage. Please include a note with your return explaining the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or an exchange.
Where is my refund?
Requests for replacements or refunds will be processed promptly upon receipt of your returned package. Please allow 7-14 days (not including delivery time for mailed refund checks) from when we accept your returned product for the processing of your credit. Please keep in mind your bank has to post our credit in the billing cycle in which it was received so several days may pass before the credit posts to your account.
