Hot Tips for a Healthy Christmas!

We wish you a healthy Christmas!

Lots of us get out of control and go overboard during the holidays – rich foods, drinks, and abundance of all that is decadent. It’s wonderful!

It can at times leave your pants tight and you feeling not so great.

Here are a few super easy ideas to get you through the holidays:

1. Christmas Tree/Garlic Bread!

Ingredients:

1 small branch from a fresh pine tree
1 loaf of French or Italian bread
1-2 cloves of garlic
Sea salt or Himilayen Pink Salt
½ stick of Real butter (allowed to set out and get soft)

Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally as you would to make a sandwich.
Unwrap the butter and smear on the bread forming a nice film.
Wash the pine tree branch, dry and pull off the needles. Sprinkle them evenly all over the bread. Peel the garlic, chop up as small as you can get it (or you may use pre crushed jar garlic too), and spread on the bread evenly.
Sprinkle with salt.

Bake on 350 for 15 minutes. Let cool and serve!

Do not try this with an artificial Christmas tree!

2. Refreshing zero calorie Decorative Peppermint Water!

Ingredients:
DoTerra Peppermint Oil
Mint Leaves
Water or sparkling water
1 ice cube tray

Take 2-3 drops of certified pure organic peppermint oil and mix it with 1 gallon of spring water or for a bubbly treat sparkling water.
To make it super festive – Take mint leaves and place 2-3 in each cube section of the ice cube tray. Pour in water and freeze. When serving pop these decorative and edible cubes in a clear wine or water glass, then pour in the peppermint water.

*This is incredibly good for your digestion as well as being festive and beautiful.
*Essential oils may also be used to mix alcohol-based drinks as well. 1 single drop of Wild orange, lime, lemon, lavender, or peppermint make fabulous cocktails! (1 drop only per pitcher needed)
